Today was the first day in a few weeks where I wasn't feeling completely run-down, which was a nice feeling. And lo and behold, the sun shone, and Keith saw that it was good. It was warm for once. I got out at lunch time to have lunch with my best work buddy, James.

He has looked at my web page in the past, so I maybe shouldn't say this, but he's cute as hell. We've been friends for 5 years now, so I don't have any feelings for him beyond those of friendship. But if, during those 5 years, he'd ever admitted to an inkling of homosexual tendencies, well ... The thing is - not only is he cute (although he's not taking care of himself and is putting on weight), but he's very bright, has a great sense of humor, for an American at least :), and is a caring human being.

It happens very rarely for me, but once in a while someone comes into my life who, for better or worse, whether there's any romantic relationship or not, I feel I'd do anything for, and that time spent in their company is like Christmas everyday - and James is one of those people. Now I just have to hope that James never reads this, as he'd never let me forget it!
