Morning commute. Jeez, it's raining again. I wish I'd stayed in bed.

I bet these people wished they'd stayed in bed too!

This reminds me of the final scene of many movies - urban reality against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset.

It's funny. Here I am having lunch at the cafe of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. When I got my downtown job, I imagined I'd come here all the time, yet this is the very first time in eight months!

How do they keep these flowers (in Yerba Buena Gardens, across the street from the museum) so healthy considering how cold it's been. Today, with the sun shining for once, the sight of all this color lifts me right up.

I shouldn't be playing hookey from work like this, just to look at apartments. But I can almost smell the vacant apartments here in the Marina. Now if I could just find one, despite the 1% occupancy rate! Those dot-commers with their inflated incomes are driving everyone else out of the market.

I'm a lucky guy to be able to run in such beautiful surroundings. After a week of wear and care, running in the Marina is a great way to recover. (Five minutes after this photo was taken, the clouds burst and I was running in heavy rain while the sun was still shining!)

The Keithmeister, at the fax machine. :) I'm excited because I'm faxing confirmation of my hotel reservations to Italy. The Summer trip is becoming more and more real to me - I can almost smell the ravioli :)
