| "Last Week With A View" |
This is the view I woke up to this morning-- a long swath of pink fog stretching from the Golden gate over the Bay to Berkeley. Sigh, I will hugely miss this view. But finding the perfect apartment, is like finding the perfect boyfriend: impossible. This is my last weekend here before my move. By the way, if you click on this thumbnail, it will open up as wide image. Later versions of Internet Explorer may attempt to squash it, so be warned.
This will just be a very brief journal entry. The next week is going to be impossibly busy. Not only the move and the continuing work on preproduction of my next movie, but out of the blue, late on Friday afternoon I was asked to attend a busine ting in St. Louis first thing Monday morning, which means that most of my Sunday is shot. I've never been to St. Louis before and it looks as if I might as well not be going since I will probably see nothing except the airport.
I took this photo to show my physiotherapist (the one I'm seeing for my wrist problem) how my home workstation is set up. I'd thought it was pretty good -- my setup, not the photo. But no! I'm not sitting up straight. The monitor is t away and too low. The keyboard is too low, and there is no wrist rest. Oh, and I'm not supposed to use the chair arms. So today I have been trying to get used to using the keyboard and mouse with all motion coming from my shoulders. It's hard to e your ways when you're so used to them; particularly the slouching in the chair.
Anyway, that's all for now, and maybe all from this apartment. Sniff.
